Ana Riaño (Bilbao, 1985) lives and works in Bilbao, where she also trained as an artist.

Her work has been awarded First Prize in the XXII ACOR Painting Competition, 31st BMW PAINTING AWARD. INNOVATION AWARD, at the EAC Contemporary Art Encounters in Alicante. As well as finalist in the Premio Arte Contemporáneo la Rural, Art Emergent Sabadell, 15ª Mostra Gas Natural Fenosa del MAC, among others. She was awarded a Grant for the residency at the Cité des Arts in Paris during 2018 thanks to the Juan y Pablo de Otaola grant. And she has been an artist in residence at the Bilbao Arte Foundation.
Her solo exhibitions to highlight are: at the Juan Manuel Lumbreras Gallery in Bilbao, and as a result of this she was selected to represent the gallery as the only artist at the FIG Bilbao 2022 Fair; at the Victor Lope Gallery, in Barcelona; at the Sala Rekalde, in Bilbao; at the Aldama Fabre Gallery, in Bilbao; and at the Bilbao Arte Foundation.

Her work can be found in several collections such as: BMW CollectionIberdrola Collection, Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, Acor CollectionBilbao Arte Collection.
